In this episode our heroes return battered and bruised from the London regionals with many a story to tell. Spoilers: Eady does quite well and Chris tries his best. Special guests past Eady and Chris via recording taken on the day. Plus we end on a fluff section about cloning.
Suggestion for Eady's power shutdown problem: Q-coherence Chip? If you're looking for something that's neutral and doesn't really reduce tempo then maybe this would be an idea? The problem with it I can see is it would end up hanging around and you might not have anything you'd want to remove from the deck in it's place.
ReplyDeleteInteresting suggestion. Eady is not a fan of the old Q-coherence Chip as it trashes even if you discard a program from your hand. Thanks for your idea though. It's always worth bringing up something less obvious.
DeleteI do remember that, but was trying to open up options. It's not necessarily the way I would go personally but it's kind of the best power-shutdown counter I can think of for that deck. To be honest, the only match-up that it would be a dead card is NBN as against net-damage jinteki you'll just not install it and use it as a damage soak and they are unlikely to be playing PS anyway.
DeleteThanks for making this podcast chaps - it's enjoyable listening to you two waffle your way through cards/strategies and I'll come back for future episodes. Does anyone else think Eady sounds like (and sometimes performs the boffin-like role of) Richard Osman from pointless?
